Land Use Study
The Institute of Urban Studies (IUS) at The University of Texas at Arlington, along with the Department of Aviation, have completed a Land Use Study. Although Land Use was discussed in the Dallas Executive Airport Master Plan, this study provides a more in depth description on compatible uses of airport property to be utilized for planning of future development opportunities on Dallas Executive Airport property. The work plan includes community engagement, site analysis, best practice analysis and airport design.
This plan seeks two overall objectives:
- • Economic growth for the airport and surrounding neighborhoods
- • Enhanced quality of life for residents of the surrounding communities
For reference, the 2017 Dallas Executive Airport Land Use Study is provided for review.
